《實修》五、觀照空

空=涅槃=心=諸法實相=常寂光淨土。空是宇宙至極的真相，是佛法修行者最終證入的境界，是萬事萬物的本質，是唯心唯物的統合，是輪迴的止息，是生命的答案。唯有領悟了空，並且時刻觀照、安住於空，解脫三界輪迴才有可能實現，故一個修行智慧觀照的修行人，宜全力以赴的了解、領悟、證入、安住空。而證入空的實修方法即完整的實踐戒定慧三總綱：戒律清淨、定力穩固、觀照空慧。在觀照空之部份，是最後也是最難之階段，但是，也是必須通過的"無門關"。

Practicing 5. Contemplate Emptiness

Emptiness = Nirvana = The reality of all things = Eternal pure land of peace light Emptiness is the ultimate truth of the universe. Emptiness is the final stage of enlightenment that a dharma cultivator should reach. Emptiness is the essence of all things. Emptiness integrates mentalism and materialism. Emptiness stops the turning of samsara. Emptiness gives life answer. Only if you enlighten Emptiness, contemplating it and stay in it all the time, you may make the liberating from samsara coming true. Therefore, a cultivator who is practicing the wisdom-contemplating should understand, awake, obtain and stay in Emptiness with whole hearted efforts. The practical method to obtain Emptiness is completely practicing the Tri-core of Buddhism. That are completely keeping commandments, stabilizing meditation and contemplating the wisdom of Emptiness. The contemplating of Emptiness is the final and the most difficult stage of practicing. However, you must pass through the door that names "No-door".

[分析]： 副詞adverb（ad-verb）足見是用來修飾"動詞"的，例如He played the violin beautifully.（他 小提琴彈得很美）；此外，尚有以下用法：

1. 用來修飾"形容詞"，例如very good（非常好）, awfully hungry（非常餓）

2. 用來修飾"其他副詞"，例如very soon（非常短時間）, awfully quickly（非常快）

3. 用來修飾"介系詞片語"，例如You're entirely in the wrong.（你完全錯了）

4. 用來修飾"句子"，例如Strangely enough, he won first prize.（真奇怪，他贏得首獎）

5. 用來修飾"名詞"，例如The man over there is a doctor.（在那裡的那個人是位醫生）
